The Ideal Patient
AviClear is ideal for patients searching for a safe and effective alternative to traditional acne treatments, such as Accutane. AviClear currently has been evaluated for the face, and the treatment is safe for all skin types and tones. Patients who suffer from acne and oily skin are ideal candidates for this treatment. AviClear has not been formally studied in patients under 16 years of age. AviClear should not be used on patients that are pregnant or patients that have ongoing or a history of skin cancer.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
An initial consultation appointment is required prior to acne treatment with AviClear. This allows your clinician to review your medical history, answer your questions, assess your skin, and discuss their recommendations. If your clinician decides you are a candidate for AviClear, 3 treatment sessions between 30-50 minutes may be scheduled.
During treatment, you may notice a light snapping sensation. AviClear is equipped with exclusive AviCool™ skin cooling and sensory controls that maintain our skin’s temperature during treatment for a more comfortable experience. In clinical studies, patients tolerated the treatment well and were very satisfied with the treatment experience and outcomes.
Recovery
After your AviClear treatment, you may experience mild redness and swelling from one hour up to two days. Redness typically resolves fairly quickly for most patients. There are minimal limitations for returning back to school, sports, or work. Patients must wait 24 hours before returning to sports. Acne flare-ups may occur, but are temporary and should resolve with time. We recommend applying SPF 30+ sunblock daily throughout your treatment series.
Pricing
Acne consultations are $175 and will include a skin evaluation to determine if you are a candidate. If you choose to proceed with the AviClear treatment, the cost of your consultation will be applied to your treatment package.
AviClear laser acne treatment requires payment in full prior to the start of your first treatment. The bundled price for all 3 treatments is $4,500. This treatment can only be purchased as a package and cannot be broken up or prorated for any reason. Payment in full must be received prior to the start of the first treatment session.
